As part of the normal process of TTTfellows skillshares and/or discussions biomedia and body in performance, actions and experiments may contain explicit descriptions of, or may advocate simulations of, or experimental enactment of unorthodox behavior. Should your sensibilities be offended at any time, you are free to leave the site without judgment. Feral Labs are social experiments dedicated to a balance between respect for difference and free expression in comments and acts. No human subjects will be involved in the surgical training and no eggs (ovum) or oocytes/zygotes will be involved in TTTfellows. Instead, the technology involved ((i.e. microsurgical tools, microinjector or teratogens) will be used with state of the art medical manikins, speculative future artificial wombs and/or analogical organisms/embryos.objects. Beyond the hands-on practice, lectures, protocols, VR videos, how-to videos and performative metaphors will be the extent of the skill-share. It is expected that the participants of the final art and science collaboration will convey some of the basic principles, practices, materials, methods as well as risk factors, bioethical conundrums and future potentials and social complications related to Artificial Insemination, In Vitro Fertilization, Germline Gene Editing and Transgenic Foeti as Zombies.

This residency on the island of Othoni is extremely rural. Upon acceptance, health eccentricities will be requested. There is some warning about special medical needs: There is no hospital on the island of Othoni. There is no doctor on the island… only a doctor in training. The TTTfellows residency site is 9km from the port and the boats don’t run everyday. During stormy days, the ferries don’t run at all until the storm is over, and then they run on the day after the last day of the storm. If you are on life supporting drugs, bring the medicines you need and an extra week or two of your medicines on you in case you are stuck on the island. Additionally, there is a very fertile population of giant wasp bees on the island, so if you are prone to severe allergic reaction to bee stings i.e. anaphylactic shock, this fellowship might not be for you.
Due to medical privacy, we can only request for you to let us know about any health issues you may have and make sure our safety officer knows where your remedies are located. You may have to show proof of health insurance even if it is just a policy for the length of your stay.
TTTfellows is not on the beach. It is on an island that has walkable, drivable and boatable beach access and so there are quite a few beaches to explore.Beach visits are planned for performance enhancement.
