Non-linear audiovisual narratives

Date and Time: 14/05/2025 (11:30-14:00 EEST)
Location: Corfu Central Public Historical Library: room "Evi Laskari"
Central to this lecture is the question of how cinematic narratives can become interactive.
Does the photographic image of video lend itself to non-linear narratives? And if so, how? These issues have occupied Iro Laskari for the past 25 years, forming the core of her research and experimentation across diverse media. Theoretical and methodological inquiries often find humorous—and at times, unexpected—resolutions through visual art practices. The presentation will conclude with a surprise challenge.
