Mark Bond is Programme Leader for MA Cinematography for Film and Television at Bournemouth University, Faculty of Media and Communication. Mark joined BU in 2010 after a successful career as a Director of Photography with over 20 years freelance experience including documentary, drama and stop-frame animation. He has filmed several award-winning shows, travelled the world to pursue his career and photographed six comic books. His PhD, Digital Visions, Visual Realisations examines the impact of digital technology on cinematographic craft practice. Mark continues his professional practice combining research and collaboration with postgraduate students, external stakeholders, and professional industry bodies.
