Body in Space Performance Workshop
Date and Time: 16/05/2023 (17:00-19:00 EEST)
Location: Department of Audio & Visual Arts: Patio (Old Asylum)

In this workshop, we will explore the body as a site in conversation within architecture and urban space. We will focus on the volume, shape and form that our bodies create and how they re-shape themselves and the space around them. Our bodies – a sign within the landscape – co-construct meaning through their presence in time and space. In the Body in Space Performance Workshop we will examine and analyze the creation of meaning within the landscape between our own bodies, searching for aesthetic propositions while acknowledging our interiorities by playing with sound, as well as a haptic relation to materials surrounding us as a form of understanding space from a scenographic lens.
