Miodrag Šuvaković is an internationally acclaimed contemporary aestheticist, art theorist and professor. He is dean and professor of Transdisciplinary Humanities, Applied Aesthetics and Theory of Art and Media at the Faculty of Media and Communication (FMK) in Belgrade. At FMK he is the head of the PhD programme: Transdisciplinary Studies of Contemporary Art and Media, and the founder of the Department of Transdisciplinary Humanities and Theory of Art and Media. He is the president of the International Association for Aesthetics (IAA). He has published and edited more than fifty books in Serbian, Slovenian and English.
