The workshop includes an introduction to Hybrid Arts, references to its definition, its history concerning the creation of this term, as well an analysis of its forms and methods. Main works and projects of this contemporary art form are described and analyzed, concerning its media and the artist's statement.

Issues related to methodology, aesthetics, communication of meaning and educational dimensions in the process of curating an exhibition with Hybrid Art works are also approached. Simultaneously, the evolution of its media is presented in retrospective, starting from the Technological Art and BioArt, until the Performance Art and Transhumanist Art.

Besides the theoretical framework, this workshop includes, additionally, the elaboration in teams of a hands-on project, during which the design of a hypothetical exhibition with works from the field of Hybrid Arts is developed.
