Bill Kapralos

Bill Kapralos is an Associate Professor in (and Program Director of) the Game Development and Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. His research interests include: serious games, multi-modal virtual environments/reality, perception of auditory events, and 3D (spatial) sound generation. He has chaired numerous international conferences including the 2014 IEEE Games, Entertainment, and Media conference, and the ACM FuturePlay conference from 2007-2010. He is a past recipient of an IBM Centers for Advanced Studies Faculty Award, a past co-recipient of a Google Faculty Award, and a past recipient of a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowship to conduct research in Japan.
