Stamatella Lampoura received her degree from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Crete in 1989, and in 2005 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Information Science on the issue of “Information Technologies in Digital Environment”, from Ionian University. This involved working with aspects such as Digital Information technologies, Semantic Web, Digital Libraries, Metadata schema and manipulation, Ontologies, Digital Preservation, as well as digital rights and politics that affects digital information. Since 2010 she is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff of Audio and Visual Arts department of IU in the field of Computer Science and Information and Web technologies.
