Antonia Plerou

Antonia Plerou holds a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University in Corfu and is a member of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology (BiheLab) of the Ionian University with the field of expertise “Pattern recognition analyst for Neuroeducational studies”. She studied Applied Mathematics at the Faculty of Sciences in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained her Master Degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the Greek Open University. She has (co) authored more than 20 articles in international conferences and journals and 2 book chapters. Her research interests are mainly related to the fields of Cognitive Science and Learning Difficulties, Dyscalculia and Algorithmic Thinking Difficulties, Artificial Neural Networks and Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition, Neuronal Disorders treatment using Neuroinformatics, Neurofeedback Training, Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Educational Neuroscience.
