Abstract

Nowadays, organizations must be adaptable and responsive to ensure their sustainability and development. The global epidemic that we are experiencing has highlighted the importance of a rapid and effective response by organizations to a crisis. It has also highlighted the importance of information systems (IS) in helping organizations make decisions to ensure the continuity of their activities during a crisis. The information system is a fundamental element in the functioning of all organizations. In an organization, the IS catalyzes the organization's management rules and allows all employees to interact to produce goods and/or services. As a result, the IS is an essential component in the steering and management of the organization in general and the crisis in particular. In this article we will try to understand the role that the information system of an organization plays in the decision-making process in a crisis situation in order to ensure the continuity of activities.

Résumé

Dans le monde d’aujourd’hui, les changements auxquels doivent faire face les organisations sont constants. Celles-ci doivent donc faire preuve d’adaptabilité et de réactivité afin d’assurer leur pérennité. L’épidémie mondiale que nous traversons a souligné l’importance d’une réaction rapide et efficace, des organisations, face à une crise. Elle a aussi souligné l’intérêt des systèmes d’information dans l’aide à la prise de décision lors de la survenue d’une crise pour organiser et assurer la continuité de leurs activités. Le système d’information, est un élément fondamental du fonctionnement d’une organisation. Il permet aux dirigeants d’une organisation d’alimenter la prise de décision. Dans une organisation, un SI est considéré comme un immense système dans lequel les salariés vont interagir entre eux pour produire des biens ou des services. Pour ce fait, les systèmes d’informations s’inscrivent aujourd’hui comme une composante essentielle dans le pilotage et la gestion de crise. Dans cet article nous allons examiner et identifier le rôle important que peut jouer le système d’information dans le processus de prise de décision en situation de crise afin d’assurer la continuité d’activité.
