Elena Mantzari holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics (University of Patras), a MSc in Machine Translation (University of Manchester) and a BA in Greek Language and Linguistics (NKUA). She has participated as a senior researcher and scientific coordinator in more than thirty (30) European and National Funded R&D projects dealing with the design and development of text corpora, ontologies, computational lexica, thesauri and controlled vocabularies in the domains of culture, tourism and biomedicine.
