Spyros Galanopoulos studied at the Music Department of the Ionian University (BA: Music, 1997 - PhD: on radio art analysis, 2021) and at the University of Leeds (MA: Communications Studies, 1999). He is a music educator teaching within the public secondary education system in Lefkada where he lives since 2001. His main research interests include radio art theory and history, and the diffusion of radio art theory and practice in all levels of education (new artists as well as student’s radio). He is also teaching a class on Radio Art at the Graduate Program in Sonic Art and Technology of the School of Music and Audiovisual Arts.
