Digital Culture & AudioVisual Challenges

Dimitris Baltas is a PhD candidate at the Department of Product and Systems Design, University of the Aegean. His background is on Electrical and Computer Engineering, with postgraduate studies on Interactive Media, Lighting Design and Digital Arts. He is also a trained dancer and aerial acrobat. In the last years, he has been working as a web developer, a stage lighting designer and a performer. His research is focusing on the way the body is affecting and affected by the surrounding space, and the ways digital technologies can augment this relationship.
