Angelos Floros
Angelos Floros is an Assistant Professor of Interactive Audiovisual Arts of the Department of Sound and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and a visiting professor of the Postgraduate Program "Digital Art Forms" of the School of Fine Arts. He studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He continued his postgraduate studies in New York, in the field of Interactive Telecommunication at the Tisch School of the Arts of the University of NYU (2002). He has developed a variety of research applications with emphasis on interactive environments and digital non-linear narratives about Mount Athos, the Academy of Athens, the Acropolis Museum, the National Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Epidaurus, the Museum of Mycenae, the Maritime Museum of Greece, Domi Publications and many public organizations and private bodies of education and culture. He has participated in international exhibitions, such as the Prague Quadrennial 2003, the Venice Biennale 2006, the 1st Thessaloniki Biennale 2008 and others. Since 2019 he is the Artistic Director of the Audiovisual Arts Festival organized by the Department of Sound and Visual Arts and the ERIMEE of the Ionian University and held in Corfu and other cities in Greece.
