Digital Culture & AudioVisual Challenges

The performance is an Audio-Video Set based on my original musical compositions, most of which are unreleased. All the music is composed by me.

I wrote several musical compositions made up of real sounds deriving from Space, which are NASA recordings held by the University of IOWA in the USA, from which I had the permission to use them in my work. These recordings are transpositions into sounds of the electromagnetic fields of the stars, the Earth, black holes, intergalactic space, the planets, the Moon and the Sun. From these I have created unique compositions, revealing an idea, namely the "Voice of the God". 

Evocation, symbolism, asceticism, the idea of the transcendent. The purpose of the performance is to connect musical research with the research of the Ego and the Unconscious. From a primitive descent into interiority, the aim is to rearrange irrationality and solitude, with a profound and visionary sound. 

A journey into the depths of the cosmos and the meanders of one's soul. Space exploration is the reflection of an introspective journey to discover oneself.

Electronic compositions are shaped by the feelings of the need for discovery, of harmony, the same harmony that regulates the sidereal space, of inner rebirth.

An entire internalized universe, discovering your deep self. 

During the performance, my original digital artworks will be projected. These videos were created from photos that were subsequently given a movement that transcends reality. Photos of real subjects, that come alive through unexpected cyclical movements, generate new forms, new ways of interpreting the reality that surrounds us, a new conception of the world around us. 

Nature and Supernatural, reality and unreality, Life and Dream, rationality and irrationality, point of view changes, they mix with the sensations given by experimental music, creating new feelings, new concepts, new mental worlds. 

An immersive experience, a journey into colors and waves, sounds and vibes, in the matter and the psyche. 

The perception of being in one place when you are actually in another, and then to realize to be inside yourself. 

The abstraction of real concepts, deriving from the materiality of everyday images overturned by the unreal movements created by my artworks, merges with the sounds that are real, that is, really deriving from the existing cosmos, but outside of our knowledge and of the usual sounds that we perceive. From this parallelism between visual performance and musical experimentation, the result is a transcendental experience, which immerses the senses in sounds and motions and elevates the spirit to a new dimension.  

ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY:

"GIORGIO" is an all-around artist: musical composer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, digital visual artist. He plays the piano, the clarinet and the guitar. Aerospace Engineering student at University. He produces Experimental Electronic music, Techno and Ambient music, under several international labels. He has a great aptitude for visual and digital arts. He creates videos from photos that were subsequently given a movement that transcends reality. Photos of real subjects, that come alive through unexpected cyclical movements, generating irrational motions and new conceptions of the world around us.

He often plans events and very big parties.
