Sensus is an interdisciplinary project investigating the origins of life and consciousness through bioelectric activity, sound, and chance. Centered on weakly electric fish—whose subtle discharges exemplify complex biological communication—the project captures and translates their electrical signals into music using data from a 64-electrode array. This process culminates in an orchestral performance that reveals parallels between natural rhythms and musical structures.
