Patient Infinity - A Viral Approach to Life Extension and Bioethical Disruption
Date and Time: 09/05/2025 (09:00-20:05)
Location: Ionian Academy
Meow-Meow Meow-Ludo

The greatest ethical challenge facing humanity is the unnecessary suffering and death of billions due to aging-related decline. Patient Infinity aims to develop and release a replication-competent viral vector that delivers functional telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) genes to human cells. The purpose is to extend human healthspan and lifespan across entire populations without requiring individual consent.

Meow-Meow Meow-Ludo

Meow-Ludo is an Australian biohacker, serial political candidate, and general provocateur. He is interested in transdisciplinary technological systems and how they can be used and abused. He is perhaps most well known for taking the government to court over his right to use an implanted travel-pass, and through doing so opened up a conversation around the rights that individuals have over the technology they use that extended around the world. He is currently working on life extension gene therapy design as art, and working with gamifying human cell culture through the creation of novel, absurd objects. He is excited to bring his technical skills to MARes, and will be creating his artwork across Europe for 2025. Please get in touch with him if you work with human cells, microfluidics, an open-minded ethics committee, or just have a couch you would be ok to let him sleep on.
