Alexander Koumplis

Alexander Koumplis (male, b. 1994, Greece) is a graduate of the Music Department of Ionian University, holding a degree in Music Composition. Currently, he is completing his Master’s degree in Sonic Arts and Audio Technologies. His dissertation focuses on the creation of audio-augmented reality games in the scope of preserving cultural heritage through educational and immersive sonic experiences. This academic endeavor has broadened his expertise in software programming, sonification, audio game creation, game mechanics design, and storytelling. As an artist, Alexander integrates elements from the gaming industry into his musical compositions, blending different styles and techniques, and showcasing his proficiency in audio recording, mixing, mastering, music composition and game design.
