The course Research Methodologies aims, in its first part, at a) introducing students in theoretical research in arts, b) approaching issues concerning the relation of contemporary art, and especially of new media art, to various fields of theory, technology and science. In the second part, students will be introduced in the specific methodologies applied in new media art from the point of view of each of the above mentioned fields constituting it (art practice, art history and theory, new media theory, science, technology) by all the professors, lecturers and artists teaching in this post-graduate programme.
