Characteristics and re-use of low-cost sensor devices for creative purposes. Wired and wireless interconnections and communication protocols for networked sensors. Tracking, clustering and analyzing sensor signals. Hardware platforms and software for sensor and transducer integration. Using actuators in artistic expression. Electric circuits fundamentals under an artistic context. Specialized interaction techniques (such as auditory or visual / gestural interaction in two and three spatial dimensions), with emphasis on lighting, video and sound synthesis applications. Modern physical computing approaches for controlling interactive audiovisual installations.
