Interactive Installations
The course explores the field of Art Installations encouraging the liveliness of non-
visual art projects, objects and spatial installations using Open Design
Technologies and Programming Languages. Goal of the course is to emerge the
rules and the technics of Audio,Visual and Interactive Programmable
Environments compositing a variety of audiovisual means in real time. On the
other hand the course presents and analyses examples with a variety of forms
and mediums that taking place in artistic actions. The students will be asked to
provide art projects exploring a variety of forms of an augmented audiovisual
experience dealing with a) the users participance and b) the use of data from the
physical and digital space. The syllabus is following the program of ‘Interaction
using Physical Computing Interfaces’ course. Programmable experience is
required. The tutorials are based once more in educational platform Arduino Uno
focusing in artistic outputs.
